How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

As of approximate 4.30pm GMT I became a NaNoWriMo Winner.

So I've fulfilled my part of the humiliation pact with Leash who has an honourable excuse from her half due to circumstances beyond her control.

Thank you to everyone who had encouraged me in doing this. Especially my brother who made sure I did my best to keep up to date with minimum word counts.

Anyway my novel Tainted is going well as you can see. I just finished chapter 21 which brings part 1 to a close. Part 2 isn't going to be as long (I'm assuming...) but I don't know when I'll get it done. I'll try my best to finish it during December (I expect I will) but now I have to concentrate on my uni work which I've put off on occasion for this... Typical student and leaving it to the last minute.

Expect chapters to be appearing once I've finished the novel and begun the editing process.

In other news. I pushed myself to finish it today because Friday night I'm going with my brother to see Within Temptation live.

He's not as excited as me but he's taken me to see band's he's in to so it's only fair.

This is an idea I nicked from Iscribe; basically I will browse the galleries of the first fifteen people who want me to and select my favourite three deviantions from their gallery, giving reasons why they're my favourites It would be much appreciated if anyone who wants me to peruse their gallery would copy this into their own journal but it's not essential.

I can't promise to get this done quickly as this could be a fairly busy week for me. I had an interview with James Irlam Logistics yesterday and they haven't got back to me yet. Plus I've got an interview with Stoke-on-Trent college for an apprenticeship on Thursday and then there's work and computer class and well, you get the idea...

Anyway, since I took this from Iscribe, I'll sort out her stuff first and I'll look forward to going through everyones' artworks. Please say if you want to be featured on here.

mygreymatter is a photographer from America. She has a huge collection of photos many of which are very good

I really like this picture for some reason. The lighting is excellent. Good choice of scenery.

I'm a sucker for lighting when it comes to pictures and I really love the lighting in this one too.

This is beautifully eerie. The choice of taking the picture in monochrome was perfect.
