Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Done! Finally!

I finally finished the story I've been working on since I finished the last Icetouched story. :w00t: It's my longest yet weighing in at between 31000 and 32000 words at the first draft. Alright I got it up today rather than yesterday ^^;. I extended the ending while going over it since I felt it was too abrupt before the epilogue. So I added a large chunk onto it to give the main story and the epilogue some kind of link.



I intend to upload two version of it. First one going up will be the 'uncut' version which will be erm... very mature (No, it's not erotica... I don't do that kind of thing >_> ). The uncut one shouldn't be. It's just a matter of deciding what I feel can be removed with out detracting from the story too much (The uncut one will definitely be the story I want to tell.) Reason I'm doing two versions is that I say some things in it I've been wanting to say for a while and I don't want to exclude people from the chance of see it. It's also my most overtly Christian story to date... ironic really.

Now that I've finally got that out the way. I can finally begin preparations for NaNoWriMo in November. I'm definitely not going to fail! :nod:

This is an idea I nicked from Iscribe; basically I will browse the galleries of the first fifteen people who want me to and select my favourite three deviantions from their gallery, giving reasons why they're my favourites :deviation: It would be much appreciated if anyone who wants me to peruse their gallery would copy this into their own journal but it's not essential.

I can't promise to get this done quickly as this could be a fairly busy week for me. I had an interview with James Irlam Logistics yesterday and they haven't got back to me yet. Plus I've got an interview with Stoke-on-Trent college for an apprenticeship on Thursday and then there's work and computer class and well, you get the idea...

Anyway, since I took this from Iscribe, I'll sort out her stuff first and I'll look forward to going through everyones' artworks. Please say if you want to be featured on here.

Nothing really... I intend really only to remove some details which push it over the edge into the mature category. It'll probably be a little less vivid in some of its descriptions because of it but you can let your imagination make up for it if you're willing ;). I won't cut out any plot elements though.
